APTOS PROVES TO BE A CHALLENGING LITTLE GEM
The scores were a little higher than anticipated as a team score of 61 was the winner!
Usually a team score of 61 is not even in the hunt.  You can check the rest of the scores
on the Tournament Recap page.

IT WAS A TALE OF TWO NINES AT SANTA TERESA
Was the front nine really that much easier?  See who started strong but faded on the
back nine.  Low scores were the rule of the day.  Check the recap.

THE 2ND HALF CHALLENGE
How did you play the Challenge holes at Aptos Seascape?
The 9th, 10th and 14th  produced some good scores and some,
well, not so good.  See how you stack up to the leaders.

SECOND EVER JACKPOT HOLE WINNER NETS BIGGEST PRIZE!
Congratulations to Joe Buenavista, who's tee shot at the par-3 11th hole at Poppy HIlls finished 2'-10"
from the cup easily beating the Jackpot Hole distance of 10'.  What did Joe win..........$186.00!!
Thanks to Mr. Buenavista, our Jackpot Hole at Santa Teresa will be a whopping $24.00.

CHECK THE RULES REFRESHER FOR TOURNEY INFO
The Rules Refresher page posted a big change for 2009.  What changed?  It was the elimination of
Winter Rules as a regular practice at our events.  I'll review and update this page if necessary, before
our first regular event in March.  Check out all the information and let me know if there is something
you'd like to see added or further explained.

THE JACKPOT HOLE RULES
We had two players beat the 7'-00" Jackpot Hole distance at Poplar Creek.
Click the dice to the right for the official rules of the Jackpot Hole. The bottom line
is there can only be one clearcut winner.  A second player beating the distance
carries the amount over to the next event.

2010 HANDICAP FLIGHT BREAKDOWN
The flights for our 2010 net competitions are based on your March '10 index.  Those of you without an
index will need to establish one before earning flight points.  It only takes 5 scores for an index, so post
those scores!

2010 Breakdown:  FLIGHT "A"  up to 16.9,   FLIGHT "B"  17.0 - 23.9,  FLIGHT "C"  24.0 and up
