The weather at Skywest was great and after all the rain we've had it was a welcome sight!
While the weather cooperated, a lot of our golf swings did not.  There were a lot of rusty
golf swings on display at the annual four-person scramble.  The low team was a 57 net by
Steve Clark, Bob Drakes, Chris Miguel and Marty Miguel.  With plenty of rust on their
swings as well, one of the keys to their score was the total of 22 putts they used for the
day.  The entire team contributed to this effort with clutch putts and chips and even an
occasional big drive.  The highlight of the day was the 50' birdie putt rolled in by Bob
Drakes from the fringe of the 12th hole.

The second place team, with a net 58, was Thierry Dubois, Bill Beyer, Sid Grant and
Larry Lind.  They made four birdies on the day but were done in by three bogeys
including one at 16 and at 18.  Two teams tied for third place with net 61.  Chuck Smith,
Barry Dauphinee, David Jurief and Bob Martinez made four birdies on the day but
couldn't stay away from the bogeys as they made three.  They were on eof only two
teams to start the day with a birdie at the first!  The other 61 was turned in by Bruce
Bartfeld, Rich Perata, Norm Goodwin and Wayne Westphal.  With two birdies and two
bogeys, they played steady golf and like most of us, let some get away.

The closest to the pin prizes went to Bruce Bartfeld with a shot of 6'-8" on the 3rd hole
and David Jurief with a shot of 6'-3" on the 11th.  All the team scores are listed below.
