A Fitting Venue for Final Event Fireworks!
San Jose Muni always seems to produce something special.  We've had an even par round
of 72 by former member Bob Frakes back in the 1990's and just a couple of years ago we
had a hole in one on the 17th hole by Ross Smiley.  This year we had a 74 by Bruce
Bartfeld and a couple of net 61's by Larry Lind (83) and Sid Grant (94).  Larry and Sid have
both come a long way with their games this year.

We also had the conclusion of some tight trophy races as Bruce Bartfeld and Rich Perata
overtook the defending champs Chris and Marty Miguel by 6 points for the team trophy.  
Bruce also captured the Club Championship and Net Flight "A".   Rich Perata took the
Flight "B" title and put an exclamation on the win with a net 63 at San Jose.  The Flight "C"
race was also decided as Chris Miguel, Terry Greiner and Larry Lind went into the final
event closely bunched but it was the aforementioned 61 by Larry that iced the title.

The Skins game was also played at San Jose Muni and the winners were Sid Grant and Taka
Kitagawa taking the first three skins (1 & 2 carried over to #3),  Bruce Bartfeld and Rich
Perata picked up skins 4 & 5 while Marty and Chris Miguel squeaked out the final payoff of
the day.
