Ruccolo & Rachko Survive Paradise,
Frank Leads President's Cup

Frank Ruccolo had the lowest score of the day with an 82, the lowest individual net
with 67 and with partner Ken Rachko, had the low team score at 60. I bet he thinks
he played poorly! If not for a double double start to the back nine, Frank would have
won the President's Cup after the first round. Instead he'll have to win it this weekend
at Mare Island but there are a few players who think they can catch him.

A couple of those in contention were the second place team of Terry Greiner and Dan
Haynosch who shot net 72-73 respectively along with their team 64. Also at 64 was
the team of Alex Ragonton and Larry Lind. Alex is also at net 73 in the race for the
Cup and will be a strong challenger to Mr. Ruccolo. Others in the mix are last years
champ Tom Sabbadini and Chuck Smith who are net 72, while Barry Dauphinee is
another stroke back at 73.
