We managed to avoid it for the better part of the day.  The final group
was caught in a little rain but all in all it was a good day at Paradise
Valley.  Even better for some as Larry Lind and Thierry Dubois won the
team honors with a net 60.  Larry was the story here as he shot 63 on
his own ball allowing Theirry to take the day off!    Well, not exactly,
maybe just the front nine.  Larry covered all but one hole on the front for
the team.  Thierry shot 39 on the back nine including back to back
birdies on 15 and 16.  Larry agreed to give Thierry his share of the team
prize after "earning" it on the back.

You can tell the scores were high when a team 65 takes second place
but that was the score of Gary Sakamoto and Jim Suekama.  Jim's 87
led the team and his 42 on the back nine was a major factor in the teams
net 30 coming home.  Alex Barna and Jack Hiler were third with a team
66.  Both players had average days with the highlight coming on the
17th as Jack rolled in a birdie putt.

The birdie mentioned above by Thierry Dubois on the 15th hole was a
putt of 4'-02" and won the Jackpot Hole prize of $25.
