Tough Putting Makes Scores Soar
Boundary Oak's greens again proved to be some of the more difficult we play.  A
combination of the slope and the speed made life miserable for our group.  A
number of putting totals in the 40's were the proof.

Not having any putting woes was Paul Willis, whose 79 was the low round of the day
using only 29 putts.  Paul shot even par 36 on the front nine using only 12 putts.
Paul combined with Bill Beyer for a team 58 and the victory.  Bill shot 94 but came
on strong on the back nine with a 43.   The second place team of Terry Greiner and
Dan Haynosch were 3 shots back at 61.  Dan shot a very nice 85 while partner
Terry's score (we won't mention it here, but you can see it below) was inflated by a
couple of very bad holes on the back nine.  Otherwise he played pretty well!

In third place was the team of Chuck Smith and Barry Dauphinee with 63.  Chuck
had a nice round of 80 with nines of 37-43.  Barry had some key holes on the back
including a net eagle on the difficult par-5 14th hole.  Some other fine rounds on
this day were Alex Ragonton's 84, Ross Smiley's 87 and an 88 by Derek Aikman.

Don't forget to log in your closest to the pins.  You never know when the people in
front of you may win something else, leaving the closest to, to you!
